ABOUT

Driven by purpose, I created my corporation, NuBorn Kare, after seeing how many parents struggled during the transition from hospital to home and knowing there had to be a better way. I am a retired RN with 30 years of experience, having cared for some of the tiniest and most vulnerable babies—including those weighing as little as 460 grams. My background includes 5 years in adult ICU, 2 years in a multidisciplinary specialist clinic, and 23 years in a Level 3 NICU. Alongside this, I spent 5 years in pediatric home health caring for critical-care infants.

Through NuBorn Kare, I educate and support every aspect of newborn and infant care—NICU graduates and healthy newborns alike. This includes Baby 101, sleep–wake routines, feeding techniques, weight gain, time management, reflux and gassy babies, fragile feeders, development, and proper positioning. My approach is calm, supportive, and non-judgmental, just as it has been throughout my professional career.

NuBorn Kare allows me to offer families my veteran clinical knowledge, personalized guidance, and the reassurance that they are giving their baby the safest and healthiest start. I provide in-home visits (local), televists, and phone consultations. I also offer daytime and nighttime infant care, and once you are my client, you receive 24/7 access to me for ongoing support. I proudly work alongside a team of experienced NICU RNs and a high-acuity mother/baby (postpartum) RN.

Outside of my profession, I am an Australian mother of three, grandmother of five, and have been happily married to my English husband, Simon, for 38 years.
